Heads or Torches

The kids and I were eating at McDonalds yesterday when I overheard Carson & Annie having a discussion. I was half paying attention when I heard Carson say to Annie "Heads or torches?" as he flipped a dime onto the top of his hand. I asked him what he had just said, and he repeated heads or torches. He said you know how some have torches, some have eagles, etc......Well, none of the coins have tails. It seems like we learn something new everyday with Carson around.

Will you PLEASE go potty?!

Reagan is currently potty training. For the most part, it has gone pretty good. Annie actually initiated it this time. We had a snow day about two weeks ago, and she decided to put undies on Reagan. We've done this before, but it never lasted more than a few minutes. This time, she must have been ready!
Well.....this morning Reagan was not cooperating. She woke up with a dry pull-up, again. So, I know she has to go! She refused and then danced around doing the pee pee dance for almost a half hour. I put her on the potty and turned on the water. Surely she wouldn't be able to hold it any longer, but she did. Determined little thing she is! Finally, I told her that she couldn't have her all time favorite chocolate milk until she went. That trick usually works with her! Still no luck! She went and laid in her bed whining off and on all the time wiggling around since she had to go real BAD by now. I went in and asked her if something was hurting her. She said her feet were hurting. I decided to play along! I told her that I would carry her to the potty then she could go. What do you know, she went! After she FINALLY did go, I asked her how her feet felt. She said they felt all better! Who knew?!

Does anyone know where the "damascus" tape is?

Carson was on a hunt for tape today. I told him that we didn't have any tape since he had used it all up. He then asked for packing tape. When I said I didn't know where it was, he said okay.........how about the damascus tape? I think he meant masking tape, but I think I will call it damascus tape for now on. Funny how they say things the way it sounds to them! He's a mess!

Table for two please!

Yesterday was just another normal day. Annie at school, while I try to get loads and loads of laundry done in record time while meeting the needs of the other 2 little stinkies. Reagan has been missing her Mom Mom, so she called her, again. It ended up that Mom Mom came and picked Reagan up for a few hours. That left just Carson and I. He is such a little man! He decided that we should go out for lunch. Just the two of us! He went on and on about how we needed to get a table for two. Pizza Hut was the decided destination. We were seated in a booth when Carson held nothing back in letting me know......this is not a table for two. This is a table for four! He was not pleased, but eventually got over it. It was nice to spend some individual time with him. It doesn't happen often! I think he liked it, too.
